Take care out there
Came across this today while surfing the net for offroading / greenlaning possibilities.

The family of a teenager who died after a 4x4 vehicle overturned into a swollen mid Wales river yesterday paid a moving tribute to her.
Louise Valerie Amanda Ferreira, 17, from Thamesmead, south-east London, died after being airlifted to hospital on Friday from a remote part of Powys. She was travelling with a group who were off-roading for the weekend when the accident happened on a remote track north of the Llyn Brianne reservoir, near the Ceredigion border.

Re: Take care out there
That is tragic.
It's a hell of a shock when one of your relatives, or friends, meets with an untimely and violent death, no matter whether the cause was accidental or malicious. Especially when it's a youngster - when you bury your parents you bury your past, but when you bury your kids you are burying your future.
This Club, in spite of cherished and oft-proclaimed loony tendencies, in almost 30 years has not suffered such a tragedy. Could this be because we in fact recognize and avoid the serious risks, or have we just been lucky so far?
