No.6 dies at 80

Patrick McGoohan (no.6 in The Prisoner) has died at the age 80, I was lucky enough to drive my Scamp around Portmeirion several years ago where No.6 was "imprisoned". The Prisoner now a cult tv sereis is being reborn with a new mini series with Ian McKellen as No.2 and Jim Caviezel at No.6 not sure what that will be like have to wait and see. I remember one episode No.6 escapes in a boat or was it a raft and climbs some cliffs and in the background is Beachy Head lighthouse near Eastbourne where I was brought up. RIP No.6 "Be seeing you"

And he was in 'Ice Station Zebra'. One of my all time favourite films.
He had a good innings though, no doubt he's now in a position to find out who is number one?
