Alternator testing Empty Alternator warning light

Post  Mk3rob on Mon Jul 15, 2019 5:55 pm

The electric string for the alternator excitor connection goes from the ign switch through the Alt warning light to the Alternator.

So if your warning light blows, then your alternator will not charge your battery.

Well it only took 2 years to sort it out
Cost me
!x Alternator
1x Battery

New light now fitted with new wiring
