Just to be clear, I think it’s bad form to PM someone with the sole intention of needling them. If you want to say something, say it in public. So, rather than respond “privately”, I’ll print my response here for everyone to see. If the person in question still wants to play childishly, do it publicly. I won’t respond to your PMs..

Firstly, I ain’t your “mate”. Secondly, I’ve been driving/owning Scamps for around 25 years give or take. I’ve only recently rejoined the Club. I’ve driven off-road in Africa, Australia and Europe in everything from Renault 4s to 12-tonne Leyland Dafs in over 28 years of driving. I'm Car, bike and HGV qualified plus some "specialist" tickets for some odd-ball fast response equipment So to answer your unasked question, the answer is yes, I do feel that I know what I’m talking about and thirdly if you want to needle me with your stupidity, do it to my face, not behind the keyboard. Fair enough?

Well said Jono.

Some of the threads have got a little heated of late and it seams to be 'baiting' by a few individuals.

The forum is here to help people with a passion for Scamps meet and discuss Scamps, our Scamp lifestyle and general chit chat that keeps us in touch with one another.

I've an idea who sent the PM to you based on some of the other threads on the forum, it is unacceptable behaviour and I hope that they'll reflect on their actions and that this is the last we hear of it before we loose anyone from the forum or the Scamp Owners Club.

Hopefully I've said enough! Suspect
