Merry Christmas Empty Merry Christmas

Post  Martin & Nettie on Sat Dec 19, 2015 12:54 pm

We had booked a week in Sharm El Sheik over Christmas this year but due to a certain element bent on upsetting the status quo it was cancelled. Met up with the usual suspects at the SOC Christmas dinner (shame we can't get more to go). Couldn't bring myself to put Dougal on ebay, instead gave him a new head gasket (a copper one), a new battery and an RC40 (mini spares had a 15% off sale). He still smokes a bit but at least he's much quieter. I had quite a shock to see the price of anti freeze has shot up since the last time I bought any. At least he won't freeze if we get a cold snap. Next job remove his sump guard and change his oil, also starter playing up so that is also on the list. SORN registered until next year. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas from Nettie and Me.
