MK 3 windscreen
Never been happy with my windscreen fitment, but that's beside the point, now has just developed two big cracks, is there anything out there for sale or are Screens still available new?

Re: MK 3 windscreen
Make a cardboard cut out and go to your local glass shop and they will cut you out a chunk of laminated glass.
Mine started cracking from the top LH corner 2 years ago, it went 3"
and then stopped then later on it went another 1"
Green paint mark on end of crack used to track any progression.
Put a sticker over it

They'll also sell you a tube of stuff to glue it in with, although you'll need some sort of jig to support the glass while it sets.

Mk3 Windscreen
The cracks both start at the top corners and go all the way down to about the middle of the bottom of the screen

Re: MK 3 windscreen
Use a thick black marker pen and be the first to have the "leaded" window look
This didnt happen to occur after the rolling road stint did it

Re: MK 3 windscreen
Put mine in with a traditional rubber beaded seal and its been fine for 5 years now Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Lithuania no probs.
Previous screen was stick flexed (or something) in when I first got it ....and was cracked.
