Sponsered by Kit Car Magazine
I attended this show at the Castle Coombe circuit SN14 7EY near Chippenham, last year with my Mini Club and it was a good one.
I have booked a Stand for the Scamp club and have 10 free places on it.
Those Scamp drivers that have a Stand ticket (which i am holding) can get in for free.
Passengers and drivers of none Stand cars can get in for £12 (advance Ticket)

http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/events/action_display_event.asp?BookingEventID=862
Those of you who want to buy advance Scamp passenger tickets or who want to buy none Scamp driver and passenger tickets need to fill in the bottom of the form (Link below) and send your money to them and get your tickets sent to you.

Some of us are hoping to camp at an adjacent site the night before.
I have got to contact (tomorrow) the castle Coombe circuit to arrange this. Please let me know who is interested in Camping.
The main Circuit link does mention Camping but doesnt give any details.
If we do Camp before hand then the meeting place will be (hopefully) at the camp site so I can dish out the Stand tickets and then we can all get onto the Stand together.
Watch this space !!!!!!! cause it wont be on Faceless book .

Stand allocation - K11
Along road from Chippenham direction to Yellow Gate.
In Gate and turn immediately left into field.
Pitches on right hand side are numbered K1 - K12 up to hedge line either side of road.
Best plan to get there by 9am.
For those of you wanting to drive your Scamps there, i still have a few free passes left.

Post event report
4Scamps attended, 1trailered.
Me, Pete H, Tracey & Tyler Hughes and Mike Smith
1NG, Dave and Mark Muttley
1 Mini Clubman and 2 VW Campervans, members of the now defunct Funkey Monkey Mini Club.
There was the usual variety of owners cars racing around the track and a parade lap at a slower pace. You could also have free bus rides around the track on 3 double decker buses, old open rear deck that oldies will remember, 2 of which were open top.
There was also about 6 cars drifting around the corners, this came to an abrupt end late on when one of them lost their bonnet right in front of Mike, what happened next we don't know but it came into the plts the front end and back was all bashed in.
The number of cars on show was a bit down on last, but saying that there was still a good variety.
The disappointing but was that there was virtually no trade stand and no auto jumble.
All in all it was a good show for us having free tickets to get in.
PS. I now have that gazeebo and will bring it to the Stourport Steam Fair and the Picnic.
PPS. That will do for the magazine as well
