LYDD IN KENT,LONG WEEKEND THURSDAY 28TH - SUNDAY 31ST MAY 2015

I desperately need numbers for a long weekend Daan Saaaf (Down South). The 4 days will be at Romney Farm Caravan Park (www.romneyfarm.com) run by Glyn Swift and his wife (from Swift Tune engineering - famous for engine tuning and Mini Racing). It will be high season as it is the kids half term hoildays. Prices are;

Standard pitch = £20.00 per night
Serviced pitch (providing electric hook-up) = £25.00
Log Cabins (few in numbers) = £45.00 (No animals in cabins)
Prices are based on 2 adults per unit.
Extra adults = £6.50 per night each
Extra Children = £4.00 per night each.
Dogs = £2.00 per night
Extra cars = £2.00 per night.

For Non Electric pitches there is free use of a fridge freezer.

I have had confirmation of the booking at the campsite and they are sending me the deposits required.

Mr & Mrs R Grayson (4 Adults) = I x Large serviced pitch.
Mr & Mrs M Smith,Mr & Mrs P Hughes (3 adults), Mr C Westgate = 3 x serviced pitches.
Mr C Yates, Mr & Mrs J Worth (2 Adults, 2 Children) = 2 x unserviced pitches.

From Tuesday the the 26th - Sunday the 1st;
2 x serviced pitches for Mr & Mrs C Stevens (2 adults, 2 children) and Mr & Mrs Aspley (2 adults, 2 children).

Oh, I forgot to say, we are all getting 15% discount on the prices listed. You will have to pay me for your deposits (when I know what they are) and you will be responsible for the balance of your pitch when you arrive.

Well the little Mini of Nick Swift came in 3rd behind the V8 Chevy Camaro and the Rover SD1 V8!! His dad's Mini came 7th!! The power of the Mini huh!

I am now booked in for Tues/wed beforehand, so good to go for the frog trip.

Chris are you going to do the Laughton steam fair 23/24 may?

Nettie and I are also coming down on the Tuesday to make a week of it, what's this frog trip ? A visit to the local pond ?

I just want to say a big thank you to Chris W, for all the effort put into organising this great long weekend down in East Kent, lots to do and a great bunch of Scampers.

I would also like to thank every one who gave to me lift to one or more of the events on this full-on programme. Plus another thank you for the Birthday Cake and Card.

PS I have had a look at the 2cv site [South Downs Escargots] and the Hat Camp is on the 18th to 20th Sept, near Cowfold (Sussex RH13 8AZ).
