Pity we cant put any comments on his forum.

Pity, too, we didn't spot it eight months ago while the sale was ongoing - I'd have asked the seller about its history.  How did a Scamp end up across the Pond anyway - bought by a US serviceman over here and taken home with him perhaps?  And how does it fit in with their C&U regs?  Maybe the 1978 date has something to do with it, as Mk3s weren't actually around then.

It would look better with the original hood (alright then, bonnet), but I guess the Florida climate must call for extreme measures.

Incidentally does anyone else have trouble with slow-running scripts or is it just my doggedly soldiering on with obsolete technology (XP and IE8)?

There was a US serviceman on the forum a couple of years ago he was based over in Suffolk.

Maybe he shipped it over there when he went home.
