I think this is what the weather forcasters call "the wrong sort of rain!!" Still on a hosepipe ban but floods everywhere around us,bizarre!! Oh and I don't think it has stopped raining since they introduced the ban!! Still, runner beans are doing well.

The hosepipe ban is unimportant and will continue to be so, for as long as it keeps raining. Then we can see how far the reservoirs have refilled. How's The Drought Going? Water-004

The bad thing is that it is causing the abandmont of shows.

Himley Hall a few weeks ago, then last weekend a show that my mini friends go to at Pewsey down by Marlborough was cancelled Fri afternoon.

Good job we're going to the N Wales coast this year.

Hayling Island area,especially the A27 near Chichester,was flooded yesterday and we were only there a week ago.Constant rain all day today,we must have very thirsty grass and trees if the aquafors are not getting full by now!! Constant rain in April,May and now June,still bring on Winter and some nice warm sunny weather!!

Well Rutland Water is now full. In 4 years of driving past it nearly every day i've never seen it so full so i guess we can use the hose pipe again then? Wink

We weren't on a hosepipe ban. Severn Trent expected rain, so didn't bring one in. The last one they imposed was back in 1995. Cool

Southern Water must have been looking at our website because from today we can use a hosepipe.................whopeeeee!!!!!!!,the next town along the coast,Bexill,however uses South East Water and they are still on the restrictions.
