Rebuilt the Gearbox today (Turbo Box) and assembled the short engine(Innocenti cooper based 1400) Centre mainstrap,I am building it to deliver good torque rather than ultimate BHP,it will have A 12G1805 S head (big valves) and will be flowed and converted to unleaded,Twin 11/2 su carbs and Maniflow.
Will have the engine on the box and in the Scamp tomorrow.

I had forgotten how much fun it is to build an engine it's been some time

Isn't it just. To lock yourself in the garage with a beer and a clear mind, thinking about nothing but building engines. Bliss! Laughing
