Hi Chaz

I have a pair of 4 pot calipers with new braided hoses on that you can have, going cheap, cheap.

Got some 4 pots ta Rob but no uprights to fix them to. The subframe that I'm rebuilding came with drum brakes.

Hi Rob,
Would these fit inside 10" wheels? The Mk2 is drums all round and an upgrade to front discs is on the (very long) list of things to do.

Thanks Rob I thought that was probably the case. Fitting discs with 10" wheels is a bit of a challenge. The cheapest way seems to be using Fiesta callipers but that involves a lot of faffing. Think that'll be on the back burner for a while.

The topic has had a couple of mentions in Mini Magazine's "Ask the Experts" pages: IIRC it's a case of it's just about possible (you need the right sort of wheels, and you have to machine the discs as well) but easier and safer to fit 7.5" ones.
