I had the pleasure? of sitting in the back of a jago jeep once (that was enough)
It had some rather long springhangers which went between the leafspring
and the chassis.The idea being to raise the rear of the vehicle.This did not
help cornering. A guy I knew in the seventies jacked his Mk 1 Ford Escort with
these. When I took the !!!! out of him for fitting such things,he explained
that a lot of Dragsters used them. I suggested that dragsters were not renowned
for thier high speed cornering
