New car...... Wife's not talking !

Thanks to SUMP posting an advert about a six wheel scamp and being partial to a 6 wheeler ( already have 2 hustler 6's ) I bought it !
That's why it's gone quiet in the house.
It was a "Mini adventure" but nearly drained all the life out of me. Motorway closures......fog......fuses blowing due to fault on hired car trailer.....road accidents...... 600 mile round trip...good job I bought it.
It is still funny how some people describe a vehicle for sale - full MOT---but read the advice notes ! Nearly new tyres -- meaning lots of tread but side walls cracking because of old age ! Engine runs well -- If you use a set of jump leads because the battery has died ! But it has potential in the right hands.
The only trouble is I will have to sell my Mini Midas to make space in the garage and also to release funds for the Scamp. A pity though as I spents hundreds .....and hundreds rebuilding it.It went to the Nurburg Ring and got more cheers and photo's taken than the "super cars" But the Midas does not have the same "SIX APPEAL" wil take it to the Kit car show ! It was nothing to do with me, honest. Oh, well - tell your wife that I made you buy it at the point of a loaded, imaginary gun. I've got broad shoulders, I can take it.

Anyway, it will be nice to see another 6 wheeler in the club. About time John Copple had some competition for his perpetual six wheeler trophy at the Picnic.
