IGM Minibug
Found this on another forum - Gordon Murray (Of Formula 1 fame) shamelessly steals a MK1 Scamp and tries to palm it off as his own.
I think we need to expose this fraud - how many other car designs carrying his name have actually been stolen

Re: IGM Minibug
Chaz,
We spoke with Jeroen Booij at the IMM last year......and bought a copy of his book which he was signing for everyone
Although very similar to Scamp I believe that the IGM Minibug had more round tubes. Murry claims to have made four.
Murry wrote a foreword to Jeroen's book
It seems strange that he would claim a such a basic design when he appears to have designed much more sophisticated vehicles.
Where did you get your info.....?
Incidentally, Chris Westgate spent quite a time with Jeroen and many pictures of his Scamp were taken.....for the next edition of the book.

Accidentally found the post on Pstonhead forum, but here's the link to the article - http://velocenews.blogspot.com/2009/04/gordon-murrays-oldest-known-car.html
Re: IGM Minibug
I met Jeroen Booij at the IMM in 2009,he took pictures of my Mk1 because he was writing another book of Mini based utility vehicles. If it comes off I bet mr Gordon Murray will think "who's nicked my classic design?" Which came first, the Chicken or the egg?
