Insurane recommendations
Which insurance companies would you guys recommend? As I'm getting closer to the end thought I better look into insuring it.

Re: Insurane recommendations
Most people use Footman James or Adrian Flux.
Depending where you live depends which is cheaper than the other. Plus depending on how much you insure it for depends on wether you have to submit photo's or not

Re: Insurane recommendations
I used a company called Frank Pickles, they gave me my no claims discount even though Im using it on my Rover. Adrian Flux wanted £400 Pickles did it for a shade under £150 fully comp but no special cover stuff

Re: Insurane recommendations
I've used Adrian Flux for the last 9yrs, originally because they were the only ones who'd insure a Mi16'd 205! And I've stayed with them, because they guarantee to beat any 'like for like' quotes that you get.

I done 2 online quotes last night one with footman James and another with Frank pickles and the second was half the price.

Re: Insurane recommendations
We've used loads over the years and I'll have to give Judge Pickles a go when its due.
BTW, Flux were twice as expensive as NFU on the Land Rover!

Re: Insurane recommendations
Flux were the only company who I could get Ian insured with, on a policy that was actually worth something. Even the specialist 4x4 companies wouldn't entertain him!

Don't Flux guarantee to beat any 'like for like' quotes for you? We always get letters that say you're a valued customer... blah, blah, blah... we'll beat any other 'like for like' quotes that you receive... And they do, even the ones that I might have accidently dreamt up!
I wouldn't touch NFU myself. They're known as No eFfin Use, coz they'll do whatever they can to get out of paying up. We know a few who've been severely stung!
