Re: The Wedding of wezgit (a long time ago)
Thanks one & all for your kind commments, the wedding car was a landcrab(Morris 1800 for the uneniciated),they tried to doctor my car at the reception but there was another one the same and they didn't know which one was ours (a dark green Morris 1100 with a Nerus twin carb conversion),so we only found stones in the hub caps. Like a fool I allowed my father to take our presents home and gave him the key to our new house!! We got home to find he had put marbles in our bed, and all the presents up the stairs. Have you ever heard 100 or so marbles on bare floorboards!! And to top it all some lunatic in an Orange Mini got me to the wedding, overtaking a good many of the guests on the way there,in time for a swift pint at the Red Lion before the service.
