Florence
Now that The Yellow Peril III (Scamp GT4x4) has gone to its new home sniff, sniff, we have the space to start rebuilding Florence Nettie's MkI. Have made a start by putting all the metric spanners away and getting out the AF ones. Now all I have to do is find all the parts I bought off ebay two years ago

10" tyres
Seems that 10" tyres are now available again at a reasonable price Minispares have Falken and the old favourite 165/70 Yoko's for £39.95 (might be cheaper elsewhere) so I will probably be putting these on the 100+ ali rims I have for Florence

Minvan petrol tank
Thought I might replace Florence's petrol tank, its a bit rusty on the outside but looks clean on the inside, with the time to take to treat the rust and paint it I looked up the price of a new one - Minispares want £87 plus vat for a reproduction minivan tank the last time I looked thaey were about £43 about 3 years ago how time flies - if I don't see one on fleabay I will have to open the wallet I suppose

Re: Florence
Not much progress yet on Florence but have sold all the Suzuki wheels and tyres (apart from some wide rims that I am restoring) I had 5 sets (including the set on the Scamp blinkin ebay) now only the Suzuki 413 chassis to get rid of yes yes ok Nettie I'll get it out of the greenhouse, no takers so looks like a cutting up job shame
