Early issue of Custom Car magazine, first published March 1970.
I remember the article, but it wasn't in my collection of old CCs so I can't tell you the date.

Re: Fame !!!
I think the blue Mark 1 that is taking of is being driven by one of Win and Wallys lads. Therefore that picture must be early 80s

Well I am just amazed at that mathematical ability! I would never have worked that out!
39a - I like it - so I guess I'm 49a this October? Great - I didn't fancy the alternative.

I'm a mathematician all right - and made a better living out of it in the computer business than I ever deserved. And FWIW, my own age, expressed in hexadecimal, is 42.
Thread drift, or what?

Re: Fame !!!
Martin & Nettie: to be quite unambiguous let's express it mathematically:
John: and in Octal I'm 102!
<Plymouth Gin> + <Bianco> + 2(<soda> | <tonic> | <lemonade>)
John: and in Octal I'm 102!
