Re: Nomad for sale
It does look well turned out but a little overpriced me thinks.
And AP Racing brakes? This I gotta see!
E-mail sent to seller - Hi, I'm interested in your Nomad but Your listing says the Nomad has AP Racing brakes. Are the calipers just the standard AP 2 pots with 8.4" sold discs or something more unique? could you let me know the caliper reference or maybe a photo?
Response awaited.........

When Robin sees the asking price of £3,500 he may be spending the weekend fettling his Dad's old Nomad which I believe now belongs to Thomas

I can't see why, the two pot 8.4" brakes are on their limit with large radius 12" wheels or 13" wheels but I don't think that this Nomad has anything other than standard disc brakes.
The Pea was going to get a set of Minisport alloy 4 pots when i rebuild it but I'm going the whole hog with that Tarrox big brake kit. If nothing else it looks good!
Re: Nomad for sale
I saw the bit about racing brakes and wondered if it was fast enough to get them warmed up enough to work properly! Though I guess it's quite a heavy car which will help.
