I have decided to call the Belgian trip off as there was only 4 of us going and one of those was me,so as you can see it was a bit pointless.Ahhhh I can here you all say,but hasten ye not, another plan unfolds, one where we can give Harold one in the eye(oh,that's been done before, sorry).Yes a HASTINGS DO is now on the table. From Wednesday the 2nd of June to Sunday the 6th of June.I will try and organise a treasure hunt, trips to the seaside(you will have to supply your own buckets and spades...no shovels and pales aloud),and a trip to Tinkers park steam engine rally on the Saturday where there are normally in excess of 50 steam engines and a fairground organ museum(those travelling in Scamps will get in for free,at least the driver will).I will organise a local campsite and warn the local pubs you are coming. As I have put on previous threads, green laning is prety scarce in this neck of the woods and those that did exist now have earth mounds in front of them because they have been destroyed through general lack of maintenance,I will do my best to find some but I can't promise(my neighbour's son is one of the local Landrover club members). It is half term week so,those interested let me know.
