Re: Welsh Holiday - who's going
We are leaving tomorrow.
Most things packed - 2X kayaks + top box on roof. Taz on tow and the four of us inside. Everything - including the kitchen sink! Tents, cookers, tables and chairs vast tool box and one or two spare parts, etc, etc, etc... inside. How do people cope with family saloons?
See you soon

Re: Welsh Holiday - who's going
A great holiday despite the awefull rain mid-week.
Kayaking in the surf, Portmerion, Banger racing, Honey Ice-Cream, Aberdyfi Beach, Fairbourne Beach, Barmouth, Steamtrains (big and small), A bad virus, Sunshine, mental rain and a BBQ in the dunes around a bonfire with good friends.
What more could you ask for in a holiday?
I think we managed 25 people in total, a good number even though we didn't have the Copple clan with us this year.
I'll write up a full report for the magazine ASAP and get it off to Chris so you can get the full low down.
Thanks again to al those who came along. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Why is Leanne the only person not looking totally cheesed off?
It's almost worthy of a caption competition!
It's almost worthy of a caption competition!
Everyone tried to remain dignified as Leanne dropped yet another curry fart.

Sorry, but it doesn't look a very sunny or happy holiday by the photos.

Well, good job you didn't go then. I've had some bloody great holidays in the rain.... It really depends on who you are with. The right company can certainly make any situation good.

I do know about that Rick,
Just look at the picture and imagine you've had a great day in the kayak with your daughter, had an ice cream, got a sun tan and had a BBQ in the sand dunes with a superb group of friends on their last night on holiday. Then you walk over the top of the dunes to this view.
does it get any better?
I doubt it!
