NEW EVENTS?????????

Hello all you very keen Scampers, Just asking is any new GREEN LANNING events in the coming year, if there isn;t I might put my White Scamp on Ebay as what we do with Scamps I can do in a road going mini... Been to Italy with it ................ask Mr Bridger...

There a lot of people chatting on here I think a lot of you have lost the meaning of SCAMPING....

Tell me if I am wrong,,,,,,, post your notes please..

I think that's a bit harsh Rick.............
I've been off roading Scamps for 13 years now, and quite frankly I'm a bit bored of it.

Scamping has always been more about the social side, than off roading in my opinion.

hi all i have owned my scamp since march and done a few mini show and had a lot of people looking at it and asking what it is my car is based on a mini pickup .I am atending a few mini shows and classic car shows to show of the scamp . I live in hampshire have covered 700 miles my other half likes it better than the mini as it has more room

My personal opinion is "Scamping" is about what makes the individual happy, regardless of other peoples views.

We have the trekka and mac has a scamp. Lets find some mud, on one of the sunny days

Rick when you say there are lot of people chatting on here, there are only 27 registered users and I think only around half are SOC members can't be sure because not all fill in their profiles despite our administrator requesting it? I suggest we all make best use of the facilities at Stourport at the end of August and in the meantimer put our heads together to organise some greenlaning events.

You want off-roading?

Well, if that floats your boat there's the Wales holiday coming up in a week's time.

There's plenty of green lanes to be driven around the area we're camping in.

No doubt we'll see you there.

I think half the trouble is folks just haven't got the time to organise events, well I know we haven't.......... sometimes we even struggle to fit toilet breaks into our busy lives.
Rick, I'm sure you'd get a good attendance if you organised a green laning day, or two. I fancy taking the Jimny, but think the paintwork would suffer badly. Maybe I should cover it in armourfend?

I'm with Jono on this one.........the club needs to be a "broad church" and take into account of a wide range of tastes and interests.....but with at least a Scamp related theme.

I want to go off roading.
I want to go to Kit Cars shows (if only to prove I'm an anorack!).
I want to go to the odd mini show (especially next year !).
I want social events.
I want road trips.

But I want a Scamp that's going to get me to the events (rather than limp back Home !)

Got to get back in the garage......
