Possible Pub Meet in Kent or Sussex

I was very pleased with the response by the SOC to the "Woodman" pub meet and the subsequent visit to the Scamp Motor Co., so would anyone be up for a Sunday Lunch Time gathering in late October/early November?

Likely Area would be just South of Tunbridge Wells, provisional dates (allowing for Hat Camp and Christmas Bash) 19 or 26th of October OR 16th Nov.

I have prior family commitments on 9th and 23rd November.

If anyone is interested please reply with your preferred date and if possible a known suitable pub.

Good idea. The Woodman was fine for us. Datewise 26th Oct is the only date out of those given that I can attend (don't start work until 23:45 that day).

We went to the Woodman car park last time to meet everybody and this time we would love to have lunch as well.
I hope to have the Scamp running by then.

That would be great Gerry, will confirm the date and venue before the end of September. At the moment the Woodman on the 26th Oct seems to be the most likely!

I have made a provisional booking for 12 at the Woodman PH near Ide Hill Sevenoaks, meet in the car park at 12:40 for a sit down meal at 13:00.

The date 26th October 2014.

I will try to gauge the interest for this at the 2CV Hat Camp this coming weekend, I have about 6 takers so far for the pub meal above.

I can alter the numbers a bit but the venue and date are now set.

After a very enjoyable weekend with the South Downs Escargots, with quite a few of the "old brigade" Scampers turning up - see "Pictures of Recent Events"; I can now add a Visit to the Scamp Motor Co., to the attractions at this Event.

I would like to get definite numbers for both the Sit Down Meal and the Scamp Motor Co visit within the next 2 weeks; so Please use this forum to update me - Thanks - NG Guy aka RobG.

You  probably  already have Jan and myself down for the pub meet. We would also like to re-visit the scamp manufacturing facility if there              is sufficient space for us. I believe Andy is working on some memorabilia for those attending the Scamp Motor Co. Visit; details TBC (there will be a charge for these however).
To clarify: there is NO Charge for the Visit; but there will be a Charge for the memorabilia, which is optional!

So for the VERY LAST TIME any more takers for the visit and/or Pub Meal.

Hi Scampers,

This is now booked for 14 people (including 1 under 16 and 2 under 10's). All being well we should have 4 to 6 Scamps and the demo Cub in attendance.

Memorabilia will be in the form of T shirts and sweats shirts, plus a special A3 poster created by Andy Mac. For details and prices please ring The Scamp Motor Co.

Lets hope the weather is kind so end up with more kit cars than Euro-boxes (Tin Tops).
As per Diary we will meet in the Car Park from about 12:30 for a sit-down meal around 13:00. We will leave for the Scamp Motor Co. about 15:00 (it will take about 30mins in a small engined Scamp).

Numbers for both Scampers and Scamps were down on the last meet, we had 2 Scamps (Chris W Mk1 and Andrews 4x4). The Scampers in attendance were Chris W, Andy Mac, Gerry and Anne from Pembury, The Hughes family (Pete, Tracy and Tyler), and Helen and Rob G.

Thanks again to Andrew for letting us visit The Scamp Motor Co. I believe a Good Time was had by all !
