Re: 6 wheeler - interesting price!
Dammmn & here's me trying to get Walle painted in just 2 colours, yellow & black....
looks like i need to have at least 3 seperate colours & red oxide on the passenger to make him worth some money !!!
Obviously playing on the 6 wheeler....rare as rocking horse poo....sales pitch !
If i remember right, at Stoneleigh he had a 5 litre can of petrol & a 5 litre can of oil in the back...& he commented that the engine needed both in pretty much equal amounts !!

Re: 6 wheeler - interesting price!
Oooh! Too loud dude. No need to shout.
I think Neil must of mistaken your MK3 for one of the countless other 6 wheelers that were on the stand during the Stoneleigh weekend.
Good luck with the sale, though I still think the price is a little optimistic.
£3250

Scamp 6 wheeler
Interesting 6 wheeler..... how do you get a Mk3 to be tax exempt ?
Any way, will be putting mine up for sale if this one sells !
It must be worth at least double this one. Form an orderly queue..............

Re: 6 wheeler - interesting price!
Easy. At least, it used to be easy: you got all the Mini components from a single 1972 or earlier donor, whose registration was then transferred to the Scamp.how do you get a Mk3 to be tax exempt ?

Odd isn't it, a British Moke in "fair" condition can fetch £6000.00,one in A1 condition can fetch over £10.000.00,Scamps however, becoming more rare by the minute, fetch birdfood..........groundnuts..........nobbys nuts............. or just plain peanuts!!!
