Re: my Mk3 lwb Stumpy
Tony was SO worried when he first saw Stumpy on ebay - He thought I had decided I had had enough of him spending money on Taz and had decided to sell him... As if...!

Re: my Mk3 lwb Stumpy
Ahhhh that would be cute!!!! You are clearly of the correct mentality for the club Welcome.
Looking forward to meeting you.
Will be on Turkey run in December all being well, Leicestershire green laning weekend, and definately at Hastings at end of May - may well make other things between them.
(Taz is awaiting a new starter motor at present -and a bit of welding to reattach the back bumper after being pulled out of mud by it at Stourport!)
See you soon.

Yes I am as nutty as a fruitcake and twice as tasty
Poor Taz! Stumpy is awaiting some essential indicator repair which would be doubley easy if someone hadnt pop riveted the dash in!

Been a bit slack...
It's been a while since I posted any new stuff about Stumpy so here goes....
Took Stumpy on the Donut Run which is a LSMOC only L2B in December
There he is on Madiera Drive with Colin the orange Mini
Sadly this trip was the death of his 998 so a new engine was found
Had to get this strange looking fella out of the engine bay first!
After a fair amount of cleaning
as the engine had been sat for 10 years, it all went in and was ready to rock. Nice simple 1275 engine slightly oversize valves and it runs very nicely
I found a nice length of angled polished steel and fabricated a grille to replace the rather uninspiring thin green bars
and made up a smaller "Scamp" grille badge to go on the back
along with half a Morris 1300 Mk 3 badge
Watch this space for more pics of new additions coming soon
