Tony was SO worried when he first saw Stumpy on ebay - He thought I had decided I had had enough of him spending money on Taz and had decided to sell him... Evil or Very Mad As if...! Twisted Evil

Ahhhh that would be cute!!!! lol! You are clearly of the correct mentality for the club jocolor Welcome.
Looking forward to meeting you.
Will be on Turkey run in December all being well, Leicestershire green laning weekend, and definately at Hastings at end of May - may well make other things between them.
(Taz is awaiting a new starter motor at present -and a bit of welding to reattach the back bumper after being pulled out of mud by it at Stourport!)
See you soon.

Poor Taz! Stumpy is awaiting some essential indicator repair which would be doubley easy if someone hadnt pop riveted the dash in!

my Mk3 lwb Stumpy Empty Been a bit slack...

Post  Mutstar Sun May 01, 2011 10:26 am

It's been a while since I posted any new stuff about Stumpy so here goes....

Took Stumpy on the Donut Run which is a LSMOC only L2B in December
my Mk3 lwb Stumpy DSC_0157
There he is on Madiera Drive with Colin the orange Mini

Sadly this trip was the death of his 998 so a new engine was found
my Mk3 lwb Stumpy DSC_0253
Had to get this strange looking fella out of the engine bay first!
my Mk3 lwb Stumpy DSC_0250
After a fair amount of cleaning
my Mk3 lwb Stumpy DSC_0323

my Mk3 lwb Stumpy DSC_0324
as the engine had been sat for 10 years, it all went in and was ready to rock. Nice simple 1275 engine slightly oversize valves and it runs very nicely

I found a nice length of angled polished steel and fabricated a grille to replace the rather uninspiring thin green bars
my Mk3 lwb Stumpy DSC_0317-1

and made up a smaller "Scamp" grille badge to go on the back
my Mk3 lwb Stumpy DSC_0319
along with half a Morris 1300 Mk 3 badge
my Mk3 lwb Stumpy DSC_0320

Watch this space for more pics of new additions coming soon Twisted Evil
