I have seen some strange things on Scamp log books over the years and sometimes it appears to be incorrectly registered but has the all important words "Kit assembled from parts - some of which may or may not be new"

Mentioned in May 2001 Scampers as belonging to William Lowe.

Says in the q&a section it was already sold.

i bought it . does anyone know where i can get hold of a pair of doors for it or where i can get a decent photo of a complete door inside and out pictures so i can make them, any help would be greatly apprieated. also hould it be worth converting the front to discs, or would i have to fit a servo? . sorry for all the questions new to these cars.

Where abouts in Lincolnshire are you? Chas (SUMB on here) lives just outside the city and there's quite a few guys around Newark.

Ps forgot to say if no one on here has some doors for sale give Andrew MacLean at the Scamp Motor Co a call he might have some knocking around or be able to make some up for you. He no longer makes MK2 or MK3 Scamps kits for sale but will make bits for existing owners.

im near spalding lincs, thanks for the info will see if i can get some new parts, but if any one has any spare ones would still be interested. just gonna way up the cost element in it really, as im having a fuel tank made this week and didnt turn out to be as cheap as i thought lol. quite fancy having a go at making some so if any one can post some pictures inside and outside of the door and a side veiw of it and if possible a few measurements would be very gratefull. when i have made a bit more progress will post a few pics of the scamp at the moment its more pulling bits off and tidying up than progress to a finished car

I have a pair of ali doors i made for my MK2. The rake of the screen and roll hoop was altered so they would need modifying to fit a standard MK2. The upside is they are very light and only riveted together so a doddle to mess with.

You're welcome to them (I also have a GRP rear panel that could be used as a tailgate if you want that as well. It saves me scrapping them when we move.

My office is near Stamford if that helps with collection.

Welcome to the fold Henryb. As OSR said, I'm in Lincoln and there is a good bunch of lads in Newark. Also there is a Mini club that is based in the Sleaford area and the Mini club I am with (Bomber County Minis) is based in Lincoln. And of course, not forgetting the excellent Scamp Owners Club too.

You are more than welcome to come and take some photos of the doors on my MK2.
