Hmmm my Scamp (MK3GT) has coilovers and it's the brackets that the top pins go through that have bent. Welding on some reinforcement or making up some square washers to help spread the load are on the list of things to do. Though I'll be giving the bottom ones a good look over too now.

This one was a concours winner, my notes say at Stoneleigh sometime in the late 80s but my memory says Newark. Looked even better then.
