The Great British Menu... Empty The Great British Menu...

If any of you watch it (I don't, still milking then) the organic dairy farm where I work should be featured on this Thursday's programme, it's on BBC2 from 6.30pm.

Don't worry you won't see me, I'm far too camera shy for any of that malarkey! The Great British Menu... Fresse

Made a quick getaway from another man with a camera only Saturday!

Saw it,salervated over it and miss the farm fresh milk that Linda's dad used to get us from the 160 head of fresian cows he used to milk. Nothin' like milk staight from the cow(fresian)before it's been messed about with, full fat an' all.

Most of the cows are pretty good, they come when called. The Great British Menu... Icon_cool Some of the heifers play up a bit though...

And my red dye, usually ends up being brown!

All of that was filmed last summer. Lubcloud's got just over 200 cows now, and Phil's just gained another 160 acres to add to his 300, so the herd is about to grow again...

I love raw milk, grew up on it (farmer lived next door). The Great British Menu... Icon_wink
Lubcloud do pasteurise (most of) the milk, but we don't homogenise it, so the cream rises to the top old fashioned stylee. And it's far healthier for you (even the full fat). The Great British Menu... Icon_cool http://www.lubclouddairy.co.uk/milk.html

Gonna pour a glass now,
