Hello Scampers, Just to let you know, that if your Scamp is not register as a proper Scamp. There might be some good news for you?
I have had a few members that have contacted me in asking if I could write letters on Scamp headed paper to DVLA to see if they would change their mind on the correct details on the V5. After speaking to a Lee Davis of the DVLA, He is going to send me some forms so that,we could register the Scamp club as a official club with them. So if you have some old MOTs tax discs and a letter from the club you, I say might for now get your V5 changed to a Scamp one, thats good news if it works out isn't members?

Mines registered as an austin morris convertable, but in the notes section it states that its a kit car made from old/new parts.

I was thinking i would be ok with this what do you think? have an old mot for it as well like.

Its very important, that is says on your V5 "made from old or new parts".. That means its a kit-car

As Rick said, important as in very, very good. It just means it's is a kit car but does not specify make or model DVLA, they aren't all bad Icon_biggrin

You could, if you were so inclined, use that V5 on any kit car or one off special and there wouldn't be a damn thing DVLA could do about it.
