Dave if you're reading this.... there WILL be life after Kuehne & Nagel! And I'm guessing you'll be saying 'Why the hell did I stay there that long?' when you find something else.

Dave is alive and well, according to the text I received from him yesterday - just busy!
Re: Where is Dave?
…….I thought that Nuneaton is a Black Hole.Has Nuneaton been swallowed up in a black hole?
He looked a bit down at Christmas after being made redundant……
I did let my hair down and had a glass or two of wine (!), but I’m not sure anyone noticed
I do visit the forum least daily to look at the banter and to make sure that no one has put anything libelous…..as admin I can be sued apparently !
I’m fit and well but like everyone else we seem to be living at a chaotic pace, and I’ve been doing quite a bit travelling. I have work for the next couple months and hopefully I can find something in that time.
I quite fancy doing something completely different……..I mentioned Gigolo to Alison and she just laughed (for about an hour) so guess that’s out !
I was hoping to make the Turkey Run, I fancied getting the Orange Beastie stuck in those puddles…..but Mark had a minor operation before Christmas, so I felt I wanted to be at home. He’s well on the mend and we’ve had a lovely family Christmas.
Talking of the Orange Beastie, I need to rationalize the fleet so something has got go……….so the Beastie will be up for sale. I want a decent price for it so I’ll probably wait until the spring….but if anyone is interested in the meantime let me know. I can then concentrate on getting the “popemobile” on the road.
I’m trying to clear some space in my (rented) garages, by selling a few bits, but I’ve also had offers of storage from a couple of friends (club members)….which has been really appreciated.
Thanks for everyone’s messages
Alive and Kicking……
Dave

Re: Where is Dave?
Not sure if he would be interested - isn't it the mk3 that Rob bought and James did it up and the Rob sold it sold it to Jono and Dave bought it or am I wrong ?

That car really is a bit of a slapper!
RE: Where is Dave?
Its a shame it didnt get to any shows as "The Crazy Coupe", But it has been altered quite a lot since i bought it from "Mr Bridger". Many thanks to James for adapting our ideas into what it became just before the deal was done with Jono. Im sure we have all added quite a lot (£££s) to this car to make it what it is today. I must say i did make enquiries towards the motor knowing what a sweet little thing it is ,(it flew in the mini didnt it James) but it will be staying with the car. Some one will get a very capable car with out having to spend on it to improve it. Looking forward to the Pope Mobile. Take care Dave, Ttfn - 4x4 Rob.
