My mk2 scamp
It's undergoing a bit of a rebuild right now so here's a few pics of it so far.....Riviera mini run, 2007, 400 mile trip from Cambs to Cornwall, rained most of the way there.Next year it'll be doing the Riviera run in May, so 800 mile round trip then two weeks later off to Germany for the International Mini Meet another 1500 miles in a week, Granada scorpio leather electric seats are a godsend for longer trips!!
Re: My mk2 scamp
A quick few lines and pics of my Mk2, it now has a 1293 ex gt engine fitted, negative camber lower front arms and adjustable tie rods to set everything as it should be, the rear suspension now has GAZ adjustable coilovers fitted and the spare wheel carrier is gone so a spacesaver type wheel can be fitted inside. The next few weeks will be spent finishing off the body panels to make it into a van, ready for it's first outing at Wheels day in Aldershot this Easter.
The rear suspension/chassis mods for coilovers
It's new stance now the ground clearance is set to a better height all round, rather than the "nose on the ground" look that it previously had

Nice one
Your only problem now is going slow enough for the Mini's to keep up with you

Re: My mk2 scamp
It's back on the road, completed a 200 mile round trip to wheels day near Aldershot via the Ace cafe with no problems at all, still some paint and a few other ideas to complete yet before the trip to Germany in May so watch this space.
Re: My mk2 scamp
Now been to Cornwall again, even parked in pretty much the same place as last time! But it's not all good news, fourth gear is now noisy so the engine is coming out sometime soon, Now resigned to the fact it's not going to Germany now so i'll take my mini instead (it is the International Mini Meet i guess ) so a few pics of it's (almost) finished look..
