I don't think it's far off on the 0-60 for the Sunbeam (4.53 seconds). It recons a terminal speed of 105mph and our old girl does 118-120 at 7000rpm and would keep going if i let it, so again not that far out in the greater scheme of things. Performance calculator Icon_pirat

Let off, let off? Foot to the floor man, foot to the floor! Performance calculator Icon_lol

It does say in the 'Explanation of how these figures are derived' bit that the Terminal Speed is at the quarter mile point on a drag strip..... Wink

You didn't read that bit, did you?

Yes, up to 7000rpm! The power tails off at 6500 and drops off at 7000 so no point taking it past that point really though it has been buzzed off the clock a few times Performance calculator Icon_rolleyes

And! theres no rev limiter!!!!!!

I've managed 7 years without one.

It's easy, you just have to tune in your brain to change at the right engine note. On the Sunbeam it's F-flat ! Performance calculator 449355

But how many thousands of miles Performance calculator Icon_question

Yep that's how we mostly change gear as well, hence the reason we don't tend to have music on when driving...... Wink

Hey, are you still selling it, or has Leanne agreed to pay cuts?! Performance calculator Icon_lol

I just can't bring myself to part with it.

'K' has been preped following Stourport and ready to leave the comfort of the Garage. I can't afford to do 'Pea' so I'm now going to strip, clean, tidy and paint the Sunbeam up ready for whenever we need it next (perhaps the Charity do next July).
