anybody got a nut riveter? Empty anybody got a nut riveter?

Apparently we are in need of a nut riveter. Question The thread has gone on our bonnet nuts so we need them replacing - or something! (I am only the messenger - haven't a clue what he's trying to explain! banghead ) Tony has also mentioned the canvas fasteners but think that is less important.
Anyway, if anyone has a tool that might help us to keep our bonnet on, it would be very helpful if we could borrow it. Rolling Eyes

I'm sure someone will be able to oblige. Failing that, alternatives which may or may not be practical:
- drill & tap the next larger size,
- weld in a nut,
- PM me if you have occasion to head in this direction.

I agree with you James! Actually, I don't find them very riveting at all! Twisted Evil

Cheers Rob. You are a star bow - trouble is - if Jono comes over here with your nut riviter, he might want his hoist etc back!

Actually, we are planning on collecting as many tools as we can here, then having a garage sale!
