Does anyone have a Scamp surplus to requirements? It needs to be complete (although less interior and/or weather gear would be ok) and must correctly registered on the V5c. Condition - not important, can be "rough as a Bears" but would be handy if it ran. Many thanks Des.

That's exactly the type!

Just waiting for the 'Kings Head' to reopen, good job I don't live in Ivinghoe - I'd constantly be in there (and broke).

I've found a couple of Scamps on Fleabay, but both ghastly looking things with more chequer-plate than you could shake a stick at (I hate the stuff), and at vastly inflated prices.

Best, Des.

King's Head? Sure you don't mean the Rose & Crown? Which BTW is now open.

(For non-locals: R&C is an excellent free house. KH is an excellent, although slightly pretentious, up-market restaurant. Very up-market, as in expense account).

No, I did mean The Kings Head. It is a bit 'old world' but the food really is worth paying for, but certainly an 'Anniversary' / 'Birthday' only kind of a place ££££.

There's another Scamp on Fleabay - looks horrible so I'm interested, but it's in N Wales and has to be moved this weekend. Not possible for me.
