Re: Mk3 for sale (pricey)
It's for sale here as well.

It is expensive but if you consider the cost of a new kit, the amount you seem to have to pay for a rusty Mini it doesn't seem too bad. It does look as if it has been put together properly and not just given a fresh coat of paint.

It does have a really nice finish to the paint.
Not unlike the MK3 Chris and I have been working on. ;-)

Re: Mk3 for sale (pricey)
Any chance of a sneak preview of your project ?
What I meant by quick paintjobs were the sort intended to double the value for the price of a tin of poundland gloss or the colour you get when mixing everything up you have left in the shed !
Come to think of it that might be a way to solve my choice of colour problem, as a backup I know where there are a few tins of Ford matallic purple though.

All we did was trowel red Dulux onto the existing troweled on white Dulux.
It looks OK from 150 yards though ;-)
It'll be at Stourport if you're coming along
