twin engined mk1
Here you will see some pictures of my Scamp. I just started the restoration 2 weeks ago. All stripped! It's been 2 years ago since we bought it and picked it up ourselves in Glasgow. It's planned to get it ready before IMM 2014. So hopefully it's up and running so I can drive myself to IMM 2014.

That's the same one. I bought it from the person who bought it on the Imm.
I had to collect it in Glasgow and took it to Holland.

update
Here are some pictures, to show the progress.
Made new body panels because the old ones were rusted.
Now poprivet all the parts together
Subframes and all suspension parts cleaned and painted.
scored some nice wheels
Anyone ideas for a petrol tank?
I was thinking of two army jerry cans above the second engine in the back.

Re: twin engined mk1
I have used Metric tube, this resulted in some larger repairs because the original tube's doesn't match the new tube's.
All the bottem tube's has been replaced.

Re: twin engined mk1
Regarding the fuel tank, is there room for a mini van tank behind the seats?

Re: twin engined mk1
Hi
We were at the Stonleigh Kit Car show last weekend.
We were visited on the stand by Jeroen Booij, the author of Maximum Mini, a book about Mini production variants.
In June the second book is coming out which deals with Mini based kitcars.
We mentioned your project, and he had heard of it and he is hoping to make it to the IMM.
So no pressure, we are all looking forward to seeing it at the IMM.
Rob

Re: twin engined mk1
Temperature expansion might push it through as well.

Re: twin engined mk1
there will be some vents in the top off the cans, so temperature expansion shall be no issue..i hope..
