WANTED! Treka hood..or someone who can make me one!

hi..I have a beloved spartan treka which has no hood..I am desperate to source one or someone who can make me one, without needing the vehicle. It is currently in spain and I am in UK. any thoughts or help would be deeply appreciated.

I am about to visit the "MONSOON AUTOMOTIVE LTD." near Hailsham in East Sussex for my hood to be repaired.They took over a company called originally the "CAR HOOD COMPANY" which is the company that made alot of the original Scamp Hoods. They will build you a hood from scratch, at a cost though, they quoted me £600 - £800, as mine has a higher windscreen and therefore there are no patterns available.

Just had my hood repaired,they went on and above expectations,did a superb job,had the Scamp for the day and charged 4 hours labour @ £35.00 per hour plus vat.

Have you tried a sail maker/chandler? Tend to be cheaper then car upholsters and I think you're near the coast in Spain yes?

My hood was originally made but a boat hood company/sailmakers,,they did a dammed good job and cheap,they were a bit longwinded though.The hood has lasted 6 years so far and it's the first time it's been repaired or patched up.
