When I was at Stoneleigh this year there was a strange kit car on the Complete Kit Car magazine stand that featured in a Custom car Magazine back in the 1970's. That got me wondering, as my Scamp featured in the same mag in February 1971, would they be interested in doing an article, well, the answer was yes. and we are going to try and recreate the original scene, I have been doing my homework and found the church where it was pictured and made indirect contact with one of it's original creator, the one and only Robert Mandry. Here's hoping it all comes together.
