I am going with the Funkey Monkeys, we are organising the Glow Show on the Sat night (they wouldn't let me be one of the judges)

and Mr Wezgit has organised some of the Scampers to attend for the weekend.

Yep. Both Tony and I will be there with both Daisy and Taz. Even if they break down between then and now, it isn't far to tow them so should def make it! I think there is a fair few Scamp club members going.

Wrap the 12-week-old in the tent, strap to the top / back / rollbar. Simple! Rolling Eyes

Chris,

all the tickets are e-mailed to the person/club organiser who requested them.

My club (the other one) received them about 2 weeks a go. All it is is 1 A4 sheet with a tear off ticket at the bottom.

I have just double checked the confirmation email from the IMM (which was on the 22nd of March) and my bank account to make sure the money came out (and it did), the lack of contact from them is abismal. With the London to Brighton we have emails leading up to the event keeping you informed as to what is going on, with this lot there has been absolutely zilch (apart from other emails promoting other Mini events). I have sent them an email, hoping for a reply, so we will see what comes back. I have also registered for their forum so I can give them some stick on there (that is if I am accepeted onto their hallowed website!!)

Ok
Now, next question is... how do we get in when the time arrives - do we all get a ticket or how does it work? confused
Do we get given a site or do we have to get there early enough to bag one Question
Only thinking that we could take one scamp up as early as poss and 'stake out' a site - if thats poss. We are only 20-25 miles away.

Gates are open on the Wed at 12 noon.

They say that if you go in together then you can camp together. If a club member arrives later they will try and get them with the others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The "ticket" is just a bit of the e-mail printed off which has the individuals details on it. So Chris W should be able to e-mail your ticket to you.

What actually happens on the day might be a different thing.

Tickets are wanging their way to those that have booked with the club,it's in excel format if you've got microsoft excel then you shouldn't have a problem. They have supplied an address with a postcode on the ticket as well,I am not sure how close to the entrance satnavs will take you to,but it is bound to be close. I will be up there lunchtime/early afternoon on the Friday and I've got the club banner and my flagpole(look out for the yellow & black flag, the Tony the Tiger flag and the Union Jack tube on the top)

A great weekend

Post  lin and tony on Sun Aug 09, 2009 9:05 pm

Just got back, and unpacked from, the IMM. Very Happy Very Happy

I think it can be said 'fun was had by all'.
I just wanted to say a few thank yous clap

Firstly - to Chris for sorting it all out for us.

Secondly to Rob for staking out our pitch for us - and, on a personal note, helping us to pitch out tent at 10.45 on Thursday night in the rain!!! (He even left his drinking with his Funky Monkeys to do it - dedication indeed!)

Lastly to Mike for taking us on a local cruise around on Saturday evening and finding us a pleasant little green-lane to dirty up our nice clean Scamps. drive1

The sun shone from Friday morning right through the weekend sunny sunny sunny

The days were filled with sitting and chatting, drinking soft drinks and coffee, looking at some rather lovely minis, walking around the enormous site, and, of course making one or two purchases!

The evenings were filled with sitting around chatting and drinking beer (Well what else would we do?)

It was great to see a few 'day visiters' (Some of whom stayed for a little longer than the day!) nono

I will try to get one or two pics over to Chris Yates to put on the site asap.

Thanks again to everyone for making it such fun - next stop Stourport!

Just posted on other thread.

We're home. Just unpacked.

Came to the stand but nobody was there.

Can't complain about the weather. sunny

Although packing up in the rain this morning wasn't fun! And the tent was outside drying, now it's persisting it down and it's soaked! Oh well.
