It's turned out to be pretty acurate for the ones that we've typed in.

I don't think it's far off on the 0-60 for the Sunbeam (4.53 seconds). It recons a terminal speed of 105mph and our old girl does 118-120 at 7000rpm and would keep going if i let it, so again not that far out in the greater scheme of things.

Let off, let off? Foot to the floor man, foot to the floor!

It does say in the 'Explanation of how these figures are derived' bit that the Terminal Speed is at the quarter mile point on a drag strip..... Wink

You didn't read that bit, did you?

P.S Don't forget to add your own bodyweight to the KG's, unless the car can drive itself!

Yes, up to 7000rpm! The power tails off at 6500 and drops off at 7000 so no point taking it past that point really though it has been buzzed off the clock a few times

And! theres no rev limiter!!!!!!

I've managed 7 years without one.

It's easy, you just have to tune in your brain to change at the right engine note. On the Sunbeam it's F-flat !

But how many thousands of miles

Yep that's how we mostly change gear as well, hence the reason we don't tend to have music on when driving...... Wink

Hey, are you still selling it, or has Leanne agreed to pay cuts?!

I just can't bring myself to part with it.

'K' has been preped following Stourport and ready to leave the comfort of the Garage. I can't afford to do 'Pea' so I'm now going to strip, clean, tidy and paint the Sunbeam up ready for whenever we need it next (perhaps the Charity do next July).
