Sorry, can't help with the years etc. Would you not have problems getting it through the new SVA test (or whatever they call it now) to get it properly registered as a Scamp?

Dont think so if you can prove when it was made and the frame number tells you year . There was a cut off date by the DVLA for kit cars regesterd with the donner reg 2002 i think ,but there has to be a way around this .I may be wrong on this any more input would be good...

If the car was used on the road pre-SVA and you have proof i.e. old MOTs and photos, even old tax discs it is possible to re-register the car without having to SVA it.

One of the photos shows the car with the (inherited) L-reg plate. If it got taxed and tested with the existing V5, it should be possible to do so again. Memo: don't throw out your last tax disc & MoT cert after they expire, folks! You may need the evidence someday.
