What on earth is that piece of gas pipe on the front for?
I presume, since it hasn't been registered that it would have to be SVA'd, which looking at some of the edges on the front might be "problematical".

That piece of gas pipe was the standard front bumper offered with the kit, it was originally fashioned on Mr.Shelley's vintage Mk2 who is on his way to Lemans with a couple of other SOC members
