Rick,
Tony and I are booked in and coming - as long as Taz decides to play nicely Evil or Very Mad He is taxed now and supposedly ready - that gives us a few weeks to test him out.
Looking forward to it Laughing Very Happy

P.s. if anyone is driving up from this direction, do you fancy travelling up together?

I was hoping to come up but it looks like it is my Saturday to work,so I don't think it is worth the 260 miles up there on the Sunday and the 260 mile trek back on the Monday, have a good one though.

Hope everyone has arrived home s and s.
Taz was here waiting for us when we arrived just after 8pm. (For those of you not with us - we sent Taz home on the back of an AA truck this morning following a breakdown yesterday afternoon which looks to be either a diff gone or clutch - both too difficult to sort out at the camp site)
In spite of one or two breakdowns of varying degrees, we all had a good few days (I think Exclamation )

Many thanks to Rick and Rosie for organising it and to everyone else for the great company.

Easter weekend in Derbyshire.

Post  Mr Bridger on Tue Apr 14, 2009 10:08 am

Hello everybody,

Thanks Rick and Rose for a great weekend.

Fred and 'Tasha and Charlie and I had a great time.

It stayed dry all weekend and the lanes were great, they varied from easy to I don't think I will get over that.

One to two had trouble and did not go home under there own steam.

My Rickman had a service down a green lane with unsavoury comments from Rick and Mike Smith, and for their information, its JANUARY '72............

It broke down when a internal part of the carburettor came loose........could have something to do with being driven by someone at 84 MPH ( not by me. ) to the campsite and some of the nasty bumps on the lanes.................)

Brian and Sylvia Bidwell and Phill and Stephanie came over from Liverpool for the day, hope that they enjoyed themselves as its was Phill's first foray into gren laning.

Phill is busy rebuilding his mark 3 ready for The Italian Job Tour, and has a bet on with Brian that it won't be ready in time......

Hope this works!

Have added a folder of pictures of Easter weekend green laning in the Peak district. It's easier than loading photos onto here - for a poor simpleton like me anyway! confused

Thanks Rob - but I really am Lin Scipio honestly! - in spite of what my facebook page says. Facebook seems to think Scipio is made up! Tony had to apply to change his to Scipio and Nic is Scip!

As for Mike's back - I told him I wanted that pic to show Wendy WHY he has a bad back! Twisted Evil
