Hello there fellow scampers,

Me ,Rosie ,Dad and 4X4 Rob went to veiw a offroading site 15 miles south of Grantham today, There is a new campsite just a mile away with full facilitys ie. showers, electric hookup and a kiddies play ground. The offroad is a very tricky coarse which is kind to a scamp, you can pick and choose any coarse to drive in your scamp, dont need a sump gaurd as pretty tame on the rutts. So any road going scamp could manage it with ease. There is also a stream that can be driven along which 6 inches of water in it, This place is big enough for a good old play. Please find just a few pictures we took , attached.

I do have a few more pictures but too many to post on this forum so email me if you want to see somemore,

coopers_here@hotmail.com

Please leave your veiws on this post.......Charlie affraid Very Happy

Looks good from the photos. What sort of costs would we be looking at if the club were to book it?

This is all dependant on martin and numbers of members willing to come ? the price hasent yet been discussed like i say it all depends on the amount who will be wanting to use this.

Looks alright Charlie. Very Happy

A few Q's though:-

Would we be able to have the whole place to ourselves for the day, or will other members of the public/clubs be using the coarses as well?

Are the campsite fees included with the off-roading, or is it an independant site (if so how much do they charge per night) ?

And a quick search shows that the site's used for '4x4 Experience Days'............... Would we swamped with the H&S crap that they are?

Cheers,
Elaine&Reg. bounce

Hoping this will be in addition to Stourport, and not a replacement.

Hi we will have the whole place to ourselfs thers no doubt about that no other clubs or joe public are alowed to use the site when we are on there....... campsite is a independant one nearby its £7 a night, like i said its new , showers, toilets etc........ Id have to find out on your last question, The manager's that we met were lovely they said there will be a backup car to pull everyone out and only said its follow the leader to quads so... im pretty much guesing the usaual seatbelts on that malarky.

hope this helps a little bit.....Charlie

Sorry - don't mean to be totally thick (although i usually show that I am) When you say - follow my leader to quads - do you mean we all have to follow each other - behind quads? No independant -go where you want - type thing? Question
We are keen to have a go and the area looks great but not sure about the above. Green laning for a day of the weekend sounds good though. We are definately interested - in addition to, not instead of Stourport.
