Forty years' working in computer software left me with a caffeine dependency (an occupational hazard of that profession), drinking endless cups of industrial-strength coffee left me with a gastric reflux problem.  I  am on medication for the latter and have managed to cut down to two double espressos a day.

For most of us, there are other and likelier hazards to worry about than the Big C.
