Hellloooooo
Hi!
I already have had a mini for a few years and have wanted a long base scamp for a while now.
I didn't want to spend too much on it though, so I'm really chuffed that I've managed to get a MK2 at a great price with a whole load of spares!
I've already started to play with it and I'll start up a project thread soon.
I have loads of questions and ideas so I will probably be fairly active on here.

Re: Hellloooooo
Hi, I spoke to you earlier I think !
Looks like you have found a good one, where did you find it was it local ? When you said it was a long wheelbase one I thought it was a six wheeler for some reason.
I think everyone is bored of me asking questions so having someone else on here will make a nice change.

Re: Hellloooooo
Hi Steve
On facebook? Yeah that'll have been me
Yeah I think it's fairly good.. It all 'appears' to be straight and true.... famous last words...
On top it needs a rub down and a lick of paint but that's mostly it. Underneath is a bit uglier but I'm hoping I can treat it all and avoid cutting/re-welding if I can.
Nah I just meant that it's one of the longer pickup style ones. It was near Birmingham but I managed to hire a car transporter for £110 for the day.
Funny story: You guys noted a six wheeler on ebay at the end of last year. I went to look at that before the auction ended and sort of negotiated a low price delivered. (think it was £400)
I told the guy that I'd think about it and get back to him but then I got talked out of it. I severely underestimated what it would go for on ebay and was gutted when it sold at about £2,500....... yeah........ oops.

Thanks Rob!

Re: Hellloooooo
Another MK2 saved !
I think the reason the 6 wheeler went for so much was because it had a correct description on the logbook, there can't be many around that have as the extra section and wheels just bolted on.
It will be good to hear how you are getting on with it.
