Does anyone still use lead as a filler these days?

Post  Rum Tum Tugger on Sat Nov 16, 2013 9:18 am

My neighbour of 30 years, a retired GPO telephone engineer, moved out recently. Among the tools and materials he disposed of in my direction are a few kilos of lead solder, the sort once used for sealing underground telephone cables. If anyone can find a use for it, let me know.
