Stupid question time again,
looking forward to the appearence of the front of the car, was wanting to fit round side/flasher lamps that I thought came from land rover but on checking their website they dont do a combined unit, so what do you suggest for front flasher/side lamps?

I think the austin 1100 units are oblong . The Morris Minor 1000 and MG 1000 amongst others used  a round one. Try http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MORRIS-MINOR-SIDEINDICATOR-LIGHT-UNIT-/171093517498  but check others as well, ensure you buy whole unit (if thats what you need) and not just the lens. Minor 1000 specialist may also be able to supply new ones? There are also gasket/seal kit available for these lights on ebay. Happy hunting.Smile

JUST SPOTTED this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111188701962?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D111188701962%26_rdc%3D1        (one NEW, one S/H with new lens)   ENDS 23/10 19.14 so if you want them go get. Good Luck. If you are not interested in bidding for these please say so on here. I might then put a bid in myself, but will not bid if you are going to.

The unit fitted to Morris Minors (and various stablemates) is Lucas part number L632.  Used, repro & new old stock seem to be readily available, but not cheap.  Europa Spares have some fancy mix-and-match round LED lamps with separate outer rings, at even fancier prices.

And if money is no object, there's always this.

If you want to go the kit car bits route, rather than original Mini bits, then Car Builder Solutions is also worth a look!
If going Mini or Classic Car route try Somerford Mini Ltd, based in Chippenham Wiltshire.

Should maybe name this Scamp after "E" bay considering that's where all the parts seem to be coming from lol Cool

John,
That's a long way off as I've started from the rear of the vehicle, by rebuilding brakes suspension etc, the lights were looking to the future about cosmetics and as they were available and will keep for a later day. Probably see them next week even cheeper.

Thanks
