Castle Coombe

Post  Minivanman on Thu Sep 05, 2013 8:40 pm

I've been to this for the last 6 year, so far travelled because it coincides with my grandaughter's birthday to which I try to attend.
But I've been waiting for an operation this year and the hospital dates clashed so I cancelled the booking and now the hospital have decided it is too busy to carry out the operation on that week, so gutted that I cant be there and after loosing my deposit because I cancelled.
Great day out though with lots of "Autojumble" and good action on the track. The year before last I was a passenger on the track with my son driving, wicked:lol:

I have a great photo of me and dad in my MK3 when it was only a few weeks old. 1992 I believe.

I remember being infuriated by the lack of track sense of most of the guys wandering around the circuit, including the muppet journalists in the 'Miniworld' cars.
